On this day when we celebrate mothers, I can’t help but share the influence of mine! Not only my mother and co-founder of our cosmetic line, her legacy seems to be endless. She was a teacher during Winterim at Harpeth Hall (my alma mater), teaching high school girls how to do their makeup, the importance of skincare, and how to present oneself in a poised manner. This class has become “politically incorrect,” but the moms loved it, saving arguments with their daughters. The girls loved it because it wasn’t academic, and my Mom made it not only fun but informative. This information remains invaluable as young women enter the work force. It may not have been an academic class, but the self confidence it provided was invaluable.

I can’t tell you how many people tell me they still do their makeup the way she taught them. These ladies are not outdated, they are classic.

That’s what we strive to continue with our makeup line, an updated classic approach to cosmetics.

While my mom was the self-proclaimed “eye brow queen,” she also appreciated the importance of lip color! Just a little color makes a big difference!

So in honor of Mother’s Day, we’re offering this custom lipstick special in hopes that you’ll take advantage of some fun with your mom or special someone making a custom lipstick!

I’m including this photo of my mom. It makes me smile because it captures her beauty, “sassiness,” and her pride in her signature car! My family remembers her in stories so often that those who didn’t know her feel as if they did. Everyday something reminds me of what she might’ve said or done.
