Founded in 1998 by Valorie Cole and her mother, the late Joyce Daniel Hill, our brand was born from decades of experience in the world of television, music, and professional artistry — and a deep desire to make luxury beauty more accessible for women everywhere.
Our Story: From Backstage to Bandywood
Valorie and Joyce worked behind the scenes on everything from award shows to album covers, music videos, news networks, and major weddings. They understood makeup from every angle — from what works under lights and cameras to what lasts through hours of real life.
After years on the road and on set, they realized something was missing in the industry:Makeup that combined professional performance with everyday wearability — for all women, not just models or actresses.
So they created their own line — right here in Nashville, Tennessee — and opened a warm, welcoming studio on Bandywood Drive, where clients could receive expert guidance in a down-to-earth setting.
